NASA delays Hubble mission until next year

The space shuttle Atlantis stands on Launch Complex 39A, at left, and Endeavour stands on Pad 39B at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The two shuttles were readied for Atlantis' mission to the Hubble Space Telescope, but now that mission will be delayed due to a serious telescope glitch.NASA said Monday it is delaying its shuttle mission to the Hubble Space Telescope until next year because of an unexpected breakdown of the telescope.
